As the founder and CEO of Getsafe, Christian Wiens wants to challenge one of the largest industries in the world by building one of the world’s up and coming digital insurance companies. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, and is already an experienced digital entrepreneur with a strong background in tech and product development. At Getsafe, Christian Wiens is responsible for the company’s strategy and product, investor relations, and communications. Previously, he founded and was the CEO of gourmeo.com, which he successfully sold to the Müller Media Group.

Die Vortragsreihe „Entrepreneurship“ findet während des Wintersemesters 2020/2021 zwei Mal im Monat montags statt. Sie ergänzt eine gleichnamige Vorlesung der Universität Heidelberg und präsentiert Referentinnen und Refereneten, die sich in den Bereichen Unternehmertum, Innovationsmanagement und innovative Geschäftsmodelle besonders ausgewiesen haben. Mit jedem Vortrag versucht die Reihe Antworten zu geben auf die Frage, was eine erfolgreiche unternehmerische Initiative auszeichnet und wie ein angehender Unternehmer sein Geschäftsmodell entwickelt.
